Jerry Troy Hotelier

Jerry J Troy, born in Middelburg, graduated from the renowned Hotelschool The Hague with a specialization in sustainability. Coming from a family of hoteliers and entrepreneurs he has extensive experience in luxury hotels in Europa, Asia and the Middle East. He has been with hotels during their opening phase, has run operations and held various managerial positions. Before coming to Villa Magnolia in 2010 Jerry was the deputy General Manager of Six Senses Samui. Whilst he worked there the hotel won the coveted Condé Nast Award for "Best Hotel in the World".

Jerry has a passion for art and culture and a strong interest in international affairs; he is currently enrolled in courses on philosophy, has worked for a leading political party and founded a network of entrepreneurs, scientists and politicians that aims to promote sustainability in the international hotel world. 

We aim to create unique experiences and special connections. A perfect example of this ambition are the collaborations we had with Royal Auping, Royal Delft, Het Loo Palace, the designers of HBA/ Hirsch Bedner Associatesin London and the artists of the Nederlands Dans Theater. On this website we try to offer a window into the world of Villa Magnolia but the true experience can only be enjoyed when visiting us in Oostkapelle. Therefore, we hope that we can welcome you in the not too distant future.
